Scoliosis is a condition that affects the spine, it is caused when it has an abnormal curve. When looking at the spine from the side, you should see a curve. However, when you look at it from the front it should appear straight.
For people with scoliosis, they will have an additional curve in the spine, which usually forms an S or C-shape. If the angle of the curve is 10-20 degrees this is considered a mild case, 20-50 degrees is considered a moderate case and anything larger than 50 degrees are considered severe. It is normal for the curve to increase by one degree every month.
